We are looking forward to meeting you this Sunday!
When and Where Does Christ Church Gather for Worship
We meet weekly on Sundays to worship God together. Our morning Lord's Day worship service starts at 9:30 am and generally lasts an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half. On the second Sunday of the month we gather for lunch after the morning worship service. You are invited to worship and stay for lunch to meet the folks at Christ Church and get to know our community. On every Sunday except the second of the month we gather at 5:00 pm for our evening worship service with dinner afterward. We meet for worship at 5520 Ball Camp Pike, Knoxville, TN 37921. At the bottom of this page is a map with links for directions.
What to Expect When You Visit
Whether you have attended church for fifty years or don't know anything about Christianity, you are welcome and invited to be our guest. You will find friendly people at Christ Church who love God, one another, and our neighbors. We enjoy worshiping our God and spending time together on Sundays and throughout the week. We believe in God's Word the Bible, but you won't meet judgmental people at Christ Church. Instead, you will meet friendly people who are glad you have come. We want to help you get answers to your questions from the Bible. If you are skeptical of religion, God, the Bible, church, and Christianity, come and learn about our Savior, Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a church home to grow as a disciple of Jesus, Christ Church is a great place for you. With a desire to welcome all our neighbors to learn of the love and gospel of Jesus, our church community is one that you will feel welcome visiting regardless of your financial status, ethnicity, or family background.
Worship Style
The worship at Christ Church is God-focused, Spirit-filled, Christ-exalting, and biblically-guided. Our services are full of joy, reverence, and awe of our Triune-God. Click HERE to learn more about our Lord's Day worship services.
What to Wear When You Visit
We don't want our guests worried about what they are going to wear. You will find people wearing everything from jeans with a tee shirt to dresses and suits. Regardless of what you wear when you visit, expect to be welcomed warmly by the folks at Christ Church.
Nursery
We have a nursery available with caring volunteers who have completed our Child Protection Program, including a background check and references. If you have any questions about our nursery, let us know when you complete your Plan Your Visit form.
